BIS
Lab Audit App is an internal app for the lab auditors of Bureau of Indian
Standards. This page is used to inform visitors regarding our policies with the
collection, use, and disclosure of Personal Information for anyone using the
app and website of Bureau of Indian Standards.

Information. When
you give location permission, we access information that is derived from your
GPS. We may use third-party cookies and similar technologies to collect some of
this information. This information is used for Geo-Fencing during laboratory
audits and for recording the current location of the auditor.
Storage. When you opt-in
for storage permission, we access your device storage like gallery photos for
accessing the evidences captured by you during audit.
Camera. Granting camera
permission allows us to capture your selfie which is required for auditing purposes.
Microphone. Voice and audio
information when you use audio features for recording purposes (if available).
How
we protect your information?
We
adopt appropriate data collection, storage and processing practices and
security measures to protect against unauthorized access, alteration,
disclosure of information, username, password, transaction information and data
stored on our app. The data is stored securely on our servers and the app is also
security audited as per MEITY guidelines, Government of India.
Sharing
your personal information
We
do not sell, trade, or rent users personal identification information to any
third party.
The
app does use third-party services that may collect information used to identify
you.
Data
Log
Whenever
you use our Service, including our sites, app and
platform technology, such as when you view or click on content or perform a
search, install or update one of our mobile apps, we may collect data and
information (through third-party services) on your phone. This Log may include
information such as log-ins, cookies, your device
Internet Protocol ("IP") address, device name, operating system
version, the time and date of your use of the Service, and other statistics to

app doesn't not use any third party code and libraries
